The Prohibition of Eating Dog Meat on the Basis of Toadyism.
It is said that the National Assembly enacted a law prohibiting dog meat eating because it could not ignore the demands of the international community, which is a toadyism. That Westerners despise dog meat eating as barbaric is a racism, and the baning dog meat eating is a toadyism yielding to the Westerners.
In order to invade and colonize a country, they start with the extermination of culture, history, language, and religion. The Japanese imperialism created a toadyism by educating us to disparage our culture, history, and religion and instilling a perception that we were inferior to the Japanese.
The Japanese king is said to be equal to the god, so he is called "the emperor," and the Joseon king is said to be a clan chief, "Lee Joseon." Joseon means a clan society which supports the Japanese emperor.
The Japanese imperialism created the words of "The Koreans should be beaten" and "Even if only two or three Koreans gather together, they are divided into debauchery." After liberation, the toadyism permeated by Japan shifted into Western toadyism.
Under the influence of toadyism, Western culture is superior, Western religions are sacred, and folk religions are said to be superstitious and despised.
Westerners say that eating dog meat is uncivilized. The flunkey principle is the sympathetic claim that "dog meat should be banned because of the deterioration of Korea's dignities.“
It is a racism that Westerners call Koreans barbarians just because they eat dog meat is based on white supremacy.
That they call Koreans barbarians as koreans eat dog meat is only their excuses. If Koreans did not eat dog meat, they would discriminate Koreans on other pretext.
Since animal groups call Koreans who eat dog meat barbarians, some may think that if they don't eat dog meat, they will become civilized like Westerners. But Westerners regard Koreans as nothing more than yellow people, whether they eat dog meat or not. Nevertheless, there are people who regard Koreans as barbarians, and bite the same people. standing on the white side like a dog wagging its tail to look good to its owner.
The Claim That We Should Not Eat Dog Meat in Order to Make Ourselves Look Good to Foreigners
As the World Cup is an international event, there were a lot of arguments on banning eating dog meat which foreigners as a guest dislike. They say that there is not only no need of causing noise by eating dog meat that most people in the world don't eat, but also there should be no need of dog meat debate since the international image is tarnished.
So when we go to the U.S. or the U.K., do they treat Koreans to Boshintang food which Koreans like? Do you think they would consider Koreans as the civilized people like their white counterparts just because they don't eat dog meat as they are told? On the contrary, they are getting more ignored.
As not eating dog meat is universal, we have to follow global trends. If so, why do Koreans speak Korean?
One way to satisfy their desire is you only speak in English, which you think is a world language, and change your name to English, and incorporate Korea into a state of the United States. The best thing is to marry a white person and immigrate to the United States.
And they say that not eating dog meat comes to global universalization. Is the total population of China, Vietnam, South Korea, and North Korea that eat dog meat smaller than that of the West? It is not so, it is due to the toadyism colored with a Western-centered way of thinking.
Look at China. the Chinese don't stop eating dog meat or hide it or call themselves barbarians just because foreigners hate it. Since all butcher shops sell dog meat and hold dog meat festivals and are confident and firm, eating 10 times more dog meat than Koreans. In spite of that, the reason that only Koreans are mostly attacked is that they show their servile attitude.
It is unfortunate that there were many foreigners who came to Korea to try Korean dog meat, but there were no government-led places to guide them.
The Toadyism That Call Their People Barbarians
Why is Korean dog meat eating with a long history said to be 'barbarism'?
Whether Westerners call Koreans who eat dog meat barbarians or not, it is their view.
However, it is an illusion and a toadyism to say that Koreans are civilized because they do not eat dog meat, and barbarians because they eat it. Do you think Westerners would treat Koreans who do not eat dog meat as civilized people, and Koreans who eat it as barbarians?
No Korean has the qualification to curse a dog meat eater as a barbarian. You may think you deserve to curse others as barbarians because you don't eat dog meat, but let’s think about it. Even if you don't eat it, someone will eat it in your father, grandfather, uncle, mother-in-law, etc.
Even if no one ate it, it had been eaten by the grandfathers of fifth-generation or those of tenth-grandfather. So, according to the claim of dog meat opponents, all of our people are to be regarded as barbarians.
How can a barbarian throw a stone at someone else as such a barbarian? Nevertheless, animal groups are spiting hard on their own faces.
Pet Supremacy - Discrimination Between the Rich and the Poor
Cultural anthropologist Marvin Harris said pets were raised as symbols of wealth, power, and dignity in the Chinese imperial family, Rome, or in wealthy homes, and those pets were a means of proving their noble status.
The reason that the dog owners criticize dog meat in Korea is that they want to show off the difference between the dog meat eaters (poor people = barbarians) and themselves (rich people = civilized people).
In the Edo period, Japan did not allow dogs to be eaten by the shogunate as a symbol of power, and even if people starve, they were ordered to serve dogs by feeding rice and sardines, calling a dog as Sir Dog, which deteriorated the public sentiments.
A pet dog represents power and superiority as follows.
First, their argument is nothing more than a falsehood, since pet owners insist on protecting Korea's edible dogs, raising expensive imported dogs. The goal is not to ban on the consumption of dog meat in Korea, but to raise a thinking that dog meat eaters are barbarians of the humble status who prey on poop dogs. It is caused by a sense of privilege and superiority as good people who protect animals and as civilized people of the noble status who own multi-million-won dogs. In other words, it is an excuse to despise the poor. This is why they have leaked foreign currency from buying expensive imported dogs, contributing to the breeding and development of dogs in other countries. If the idea of protecting Korean edible dogs is to be persuasive, they should not blame dog meat eaters, but rather raise edible dogs, not buying imported pets.
Second, there are numerous literatures, papers, and materials which say that eating dog meat in Korea is a tradition, but they do not read or acknowledge it. The reason is that if Korean dog meat is recognized as a traditional culture, its culture will become on the same level as that of the pet dog culture, and as a result dog meat culture cannot be despised. The other cause is that as long as the differentiation between barbarism (the poor) and civilization (the rich) must continue, they can enjoy a sense of privilege and superiority.
Third, Westerners hinders recognizing dog meat as a traditional culture in Korea. For example, when the National Information Agency recruited guides for dog farms to foreign reporters, they could not guide the reporters because of the strong opposition attacking like a swarm of bees. The reason is that if it is known that there is a separate dog for eating in Korea, dog meat can be recognized as a culture. They are continuously promoting Korea to the world as a barbaric country because a sense of superiority and privilege can be maintained only when dog meat eating remains barbaric.
Fourth, while buying imported dogs worth tens to millions of won, they let their dogs lead more luxurious life than that of humans by dint of dog beauty salons, dog hotels, and extravagant dog food, And when dogs die, they spend millions of won at the opening ceremony to hold a funeral and bury them in the dog's grave. However, if they turn their eyes around, they can see many people dying from hardships of life, but they despise them.
Encouraging the Development of Dog Eating Culture
Not long ago, the Japanese despised kimchi for being smelly, but now it is known to the world as a representative food of Korea.
Since the most Korean version is the most world-class, dog meat can be the representative K-FOOD of Korea. Therefore, it is necessary not to get rid of it, but to promote and develop it with pride. That is reasonable.
In relation to the ban on dog meat eating, many foreign media responded that it was a strange law that was biased toward emotions.
Eliminating it by misjudgment is a foolish thing to yield in foreign powers of toadyism, and to go down in history for long, which will be blamed for the subcontract from money-making animal group.
