Hebrews 11 “Use of the body (healing) through the memory of faith”
Treatment and healing have something in common: the healer heals the sick person by feeding something to the person being healed. In order for a sick body to be healed, it must be governed by someone who heals the sick. Receiving this control means following specific medicines or physical methods, but ultimately it means offering the sick body to the words of the healer. Treatment is the healing of the diseased part. Treatment means burning the diseased part with a torch. When a sick person receives treatment, regardless of whether the area is small or large or the type of illness is mild or severe, the healer's treatment only acts on the sick person's body. Therefore, the purpose of treatment is for the healer to grant the sick person's request. There can be no treatment where there is no request. This means that faith is not a condition for treatment. On the other hand, healing involves fixing the mind trapped by illness in various ways. A mind trapped by illness is a sick mind. The cause of illness comes from a sick mind. It is sin that makes the heart sick. Healing is healing a sick heart by removing sin. Of course, when the sick mind is healed, the sick body is also healed. Therefore, faith is a condition for healing.
How do treatment and healing take place? Treatment is achieved by the healer's medical techniques or prepared medicine reaching the diseased part and removing the diseased part. Healing occurs when the healer's will, which can remove sin, takes control of the body by removing the sin that has settled in the heart of the sick person. Treatment occurs when you offer your body to the healer, and healing occurs when you offer your body and mind (will) to the healer. So how do our bodies and minds work? Our body and mind operate through memory. Our body and mind are not operated by thoughts. Thoughts are like unblocked water or uncontained air. So, thoughts arise but soon disappear, are created but soon disappear. Therefore, what makes the body and mind work is not thought, but memory. Memory gives the will-made mind various forms in the inner world so that the experience of the body can act. In addition, meaning is given so that will can be applied to symbols created through experience in the world of denotation. In other words, through memory, the will that operates in the inner world can control the body, and the experience that operates in the external world becomes meaning and is stored in the body without disappearing.
Therefore, body memory is created at three levels. The first is memory of experiences. Experiences generated through thoughts and actions are remembered in the body and mind. However, this memory is not a memory of facts. Since memory is a function of the mind created by the will, it is not the facts seen or heard that are remembered, but the meaning reflected by those facts. Meaningless things are not remembered in the body and mind, nor are they remembered. The second is the memory of the unconscious. The world of unconsciousness is a world where consciousness does not operate and where bodily experiences do not occur. The experience of the body is achieved through awareness, but memories through the unconscious are not experienced by the body because awareness does not work. However, just because you don't experience it in your body doesn't mean it won't be remembered in your body. Rather, in the world of unconsciousness where body consciousness is suspended, the mental forms created by numerous wills are stored in the body. Fear or peace, loneliness or satisfaction, and attack or defense are the body's memories stored in the world of unconsciousness. Third is the memory of the will of the Father (Creator). All creatures were created by the will of the Creator, and the will of the Creator is remembered. God's children remember God's will, and Satan's children remember Satan's will.
Healing involves activating the body's memory to heal the body and mind from illness. Since the body's memory is carried out in three dimensions, the method of healing the body and mind must also be carried out in three dimensions. First, healing must be experienced by the body by touching the healer's hands or clothes, or by hearing words or voice. Those who have been healed by Jesus are those who have experienced the body of Jesus. Therefore, the cases of the daughter of Jairus and Lazarus, the centurion who had no experience with the body of Jesus and who came back from the dead, should be viewed as the ability to raise the dead rather than as healing. Today, healing in Christianity also occurs through the experience of meeting a healer who has the gift of healing. Healing, secondly, requires escaping from the form of the mind created by various oppressive wills in the world of unconsciousness. The forgiveness of sins shown by Jesus applies here. So faith is a prerequisite for forgiveness of sins. If you do not believe in Jesus as the Christ who forgives your sins, the power of Jesus cannot be effective. Third, healing must restore the will of the Father (Creator). Restoring the Father's will means not using the body and mind with the will of the ego. Those who are healed by Jesus use their bodies and minds to demonstrate God's work and glory.
