The Wanderer of the Universe, A Poetic Reflection as Autumn Unfolds
As autumn arrives and passes,
The weather shifts noticeably, with breezes whispering morning and evening, Yet, midday still holds the remnants of summer's grasp.
To truly sense the crisp autumn air,
I take a stroll through the deserted park, where the pre-dawn chorus of crickets fills the air.
Across the night sky, shooting stars streak afar, while the morning star, Venus, radiantly gleams, Amidst the night's obsidian canvas, the Milky Way weaves a tapestry of beauty.
Whence have I come,
Residing momentarily on this diminutive planet, Earth, where am I bound? Could I be a vagabond traveler, journeying from yonder stars through the Milky Way?
Contemplation assures my existence,
Affirming life within me.
I become a cosmic orphan, drifting through the Milky Way, Have I settled and made this place my abode?
Countless musings and thoughts fleet through my mind, Sudden and ephemeral as shooting stars.
I, a wanderer of the universe, dwell briefly upon Earth, only to vanish, Like a wisp of air that disappears without trace after a century's passage.
At the culmination of contemplation, emptiness and insignificance enshroud me, Amidst the autumnal chorus of crickets,
Sufficient to evoke the ancient nostalgia of distant stars and epochs, A reminder of primordial scents from far-flung galaxies and ages long past.
For humans are, inevitably, finite beings,
My thoughts may traverse the celestial Milky Way endlessly, Yet, at its conclusion,
I remain naught but a finite wanderer of the infinite cosmos,
A truth that tinges my eyes with crimson tears.
