"James! That's not possible. Come on, let’s go together. “Let’s go together!”
“Jiyoung. Let's go quickly. I do not have time. Just keep going south. Understand?"
"no! no. you stupid! hey! James. You stupid man! no. Jiyoung can’t go alone! I'm not going! You stupid man! “Let’s leave together!”
Jiyoung called out to James without even wiping the tears flowing down her cheeks. This can't be done. How could she be left alone? She will be left to die. If he goes back, he will definitely die. Jiyoung didn't know what to do. Other than that, she just swears and insists that we go together.
"mister. Mom is waiting. Kim Seon-ae is waiting. Kim Seon-ae, the woman the man loves, is waiting for you. So come along. yes. huh? What about Mom? “You stupid man!”
James started the detached Skidoo and went over to Jiyoung, who was crying.
“Jiyoung. This is a cell phone. You'll get a call from Bellis soon. Call that number again. Don't forget. The number Bellis sent me. And let's go. The tracking team will come after you. I'll stop them, so let's get going. I will follow you soon. Dr. Jiyoung Kim has work to do for many innocent people. Keep that in mind and make sure to create that vaccine. I will follow you soon. Don't worry. You just have to trust me. Understand? Now, let’s go.”
Jiyoung nodded, smiling at her face, which was frozen with tears. James even watched as she gave Jiyoung her red cell phone and put it in her front pocket. And he pushed Jiyoung’s ski-doo.
"mister. You must come back alive. Promise me. mister!"
Skidoo started off slowly, and Jiyoung looked behind her and shouted.
"okay. I promised. “I will soon follow you alive.”
After shouting that, James started his Ski-Doo. I turned my head and looked behind her to see Jiyoung's Ski-Doo gradually moving further away. He checked the ammunition of the M16 on his shoulder and pocketed two magazines from the bag on the back of his ski-doo. And then they ran through the snow-covered trees of what would have been a river in the summer, towards the building they had emerged from.
49.
The snowflakes turned into small snowflakes and began to fall. James turned his head for a moment and looked in the direction where Jiyoung had gone. He looked black in the distance. He was on the right track. Seon-ae's face appeared and disappeared in the falling snow.
James felt uneasy after leaving Jiyoung alone. However, thinking that the chase group would soon appear on another Skidoo, I moved the Skidoo behind the snow-covered trees in front of the garage entrance where I expected them to jump out and took a shooting stance. Before he could catch his breath, Skidoo burst through the door they came out of with a loud rumbling sound. As expected, Ski-Doo was somewhere else. James' prediction was correct. James sat down and pulled the trigger of the gun aimed in a shooting position. The first one that just jumped out went forward and fell. The second guy's helmet exploded and fell to the side. The third guy then realized there was an ambush and stepped on the brakes, but it was too late. His Skidoo exploded from the bullet that hit him, sending him flying high into the sky. James ran with all his might toward the exit they came from. He had not yet left and was surprised when he ran into three guys coming out with guns in hand. James rushed forward, put his gun on automatic and fired at them. Either they did not release the safety device or they did not anticipate it, but they fell to the ground without firing a single shot. James pushed through them and went inside. A gunfight was taking place in the square inside the building. Both were still alive. James aimed his shot at the guys shooting at the entrance to the annex. They were knocked down by an unexpected gunshot.
"James! Why did you come back?"
Bellis asked loudly from the other side.
“Dr. Jiyoung Kim, I came to look for Baek Saek. Have you seen where he is?”
“I saw it in lab number 5. It’s the room right next door.”
“Escape without delay. There are more Ski-Doos in the garage here. As for Keith…”
I couldn't speak any more. The laboratory door next to the annex entrance opened and the guards began shooting. Bellis fired back and shouted loudly.
“James. We will provide covering fire, and we will escape. We must escape soon!”
I didn't have time to answer. James ran into laboratory number 5, where he had just left with Jiyoung, under the covering fire of Bellis and Keith. One was next to the fallen Dr. Kurtais. I didn't expect him to be there in the midst of this. The moment he fired the gun, he bowed down and pulled the trigger. He fell onto the glass shelf. James felt a lump on his side. The bullet he fired hit him in the side. He hesitated and turned his head to look for Jiyoung's blue bag. Jiyoung's bag was in a red plastic box under a cabinet with an open steel door next to the table by the window. He ran and opened the bag. There were things brought from Greece. They must not have looked at this closely. James checked them again. Almost everyone was included. He picked up the bag and put it on his back. Now we have to go after Jiyoung. He didn't think it would be a good idea to go out the front door. The western wall above the table where the computer was placed was made of glass. Blood was flowing from his side. He picked up a chair and threw it with all his might against the glass window with its legs forward. He had to be a one-shot too. The windows were not bulletproof. It was for winter use. The double tempered glass window exploded. At the same time, bullets went through the door and hit the other side. Without hesitation, I climbed through the broken window and jumped out into the snow. At that time, I saw three Ski-Doos running towards Hudson Bay from the annex on the right. It was a chase team. It was a crisis. I felt like my hair was standing on end. Instinct made him move. James immediately ran over, climbed into his Skidoo, which he had hidden behind a snow-covered tree, and set off towards them.

At that time, demonstrations were taking place day after day in East Asian countries denouncing incompetent governments as damage from Blue Worm attacks continued to increase. Pig and cattle farmers and the families of those who suffered fatal damage or died or were in danger of death joined forces and held a rally demanding compensation from the government. Governments around the world encouraged the removal of domestic pigs and cattle in areas where infection was expected, and governments were confronting associations of affected livestock farmers and families of victims who died from blueworm over billions of dollars worth of compensation. These demonstrators loaded slaughtered livestock onto trucks, joined other demonstrators, and held large-scale government condemnation rallies every day.
“Exterminate the blue worm quickly!”
“Provide blueworm vaccine!”
“Pay compensation for the damage quickly!”
“Come up with a solution as soon as possible, fire the incompetent Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and ask the President to apologize!”
These news were broadcast urgently and spread all over the world. It was also broadcast 24 hours a day on a large screen attached to the wall of the emergency situation room of the Blue Worm Eradication Task Force formed by the Global Microbiological Association in Toronto.
Canada was no exception. The Canadian government was so anxious that its hopes for securing the next administration would be dashed due to pressure from the Hogs Farmers Association. Korea, Japan, and China have begun to suspend imports of pig feed and Hog's meat indefinitely, and even the United States, the largest export market, is considering suspending imports of not only feed but also meat, so feed and pork exporters are literally crushing Canada. It was shaking as if it was about to be thrown away. Their government officials are seeking multi-faceted solutions and are almost betting their lives on the results of the Global Society for Specific Microbiology on vaccines.
“Have you confirmed the location of Dr. Jiyoung Kim yet?”
Dr. Will asked the computer agent in a nervous voice. The computer team received support from the government after the blueworm outbreak. Six of them provide information management support.
“We are conducting an intensive search in the North Quebec area. “There is no real-time data received from satellite yet.”
“Where is Mrs. Kim?”
Dr. In-gu Jeong, who was watching next to Dr. Will, asked.
“It’s on the northern border of Ontario.”
“Please continue to watch closely. “Can you widen the screen?”
Dr. Jeong In-gu looked at the screen closely and asked the agent.
An agent sitting in front of a computer, staring at the screen, saw Dr. Will. This may be because Korean doctors are unfamiliar with it. Dr. Will nodded and soon a satellite screen appeared and a blue dot was seen moving. On the map on the screen, there was Hudson Bay and Ontario on its border, and Quebec was on the right. Now the dot was moving slowly on the border of Ontario and Hudson Bay. They were closely monitoring the moving dot and moving their fingers diligently to capture a clearer image. It was probably the helicopter that Kim Seon-ae was on. Jeong In-gu was watching without asking any more questions.
51.
The helicopter Kim Seon-ae was riding was flying north along the coast of Hudson Bay. The helicopter's vision was blurred by the blowing snow, so it slowly lowered its altitude. At that time, Seon-ae saw a black dot running inside the telescope. In her intuition, she thought it was Jiyoung. Judging by the way her hair was flowing. Three black dots followed behind it. Jiyoung was coming down south along the forest on the left coast. I also saw a helicopter pilot holding a telescope.
"excuse me! “I can see her daughter, Dr. Jiyoung Kim!”
I'm not sure, but that's what Seon-ae shouted. The pilot didn't answer. Instead, she began to descend a little more. Seonae prepared to get off her helicopter. The helicopter got closer and closer to the object. The object she guessed was Jiyoung was also Jiyoung. Jiyoung was riding her ski-doo down south alone. But then three other moving objects began to become more clearly visible, and the pilot shouted:
“Be careful. “Guys with guns are in pursuit!”
With the pilot's cry, the rescue teams became tense. In fact, they were not soldiers. He did not possess a lethal weapon. They only carry flares. One of them took out a flare gun and was taking aim. This was because they could not yet tell whether the pursuer was an enemy or friend.
