* miniature: 소형의, 축소판의.(=minute, tiny, minuscule)
* sneeze: 재치기하다. 여기서는 '콧김으로 날려보내다'라는 뜻.
* vice versa: 반대로, 역으로. 보통 앞에 and가 온다.
* pop: 펑 터뜨리다.
* put a lid on: 두껑[마개]를 닫다.
* toddler: (걸음마를 배우는) 어린 아기.
* backwards: 앞뒤를 바꾸어서. 즉 옷의 단추가 등 쪽으로 가도록.
* fill out: (양식을) 빠짐없이 기입해 넣다.
* tape A on B: A를 B에 (테이프로) 붙이다.

* pay in pennies: 잔돈으로[푼돈으로] 지불하다.
* in reverse: 거꾸로, 역으로.
* blender: 믹서기, 분쇄기.
* blow it out your mule: 엉덩이로 배설하다. 원래는 'blow it out your ass'라고 하는데, 여기서는 ass와 같은 동물인 mule을 쓴 것. 그리고서 상사가 ass=mule의 관계를 눈치채는지 보라는 말.
* figure out: (곰곰이 생각해서) 알아내다.(=understand, solve)

* in jail: 감옥에 갇힌.(=in prison)
* make up: 꾸며내다.(=fake, fabricate)
* filling: a food mixture that goes into something; 음식물의 속.
