However, Angara did not reveal the specific amount allocated for the proposed construction project.</p><p style="text-align: start;">Back in August, Senator Chiz Escudero had proposed allocation of $1.8 million towards the project. According to the Senator, the funds would be enough to construct a pier and lodging structures for soldiers assigned in the area, as well as for fishermen who might seek temporary refuge in times of bad weather.</p><p style="text-align: start;">The Philippines Senate last week ratified the country’s 2024 national budget of $103 billion, which includes additional expenditure for the Department of National Defense (DND) of $187 million.</p><p style="text-align: start;">The Philippines Navy has been awarded the lion’s share of the additional defense budget, some $110 million. 첫댓글 중국의 무력 도발은 거의 50년 전부터네요. 아래는 1976년 9월호 월간중앙의 현대시사용어 사전에 나온 것입니다.
1950년대에는 친했던 미얀마(버마)와 인도네시아에게 1960년대에 강압적인 외교를 하다가 이 둘이 완전히 돌아서기도 했다고 합니다.
서사군도는 남베트남 흔들흔들할 때 들어가서 빼았았고, 문혁때 미얀마나 인도네시아에 어떻게 했는지 찾아봐야겠네요 ㅎㅎ
@위종민 문혁 터지기 직전 1965년에는 중국이 인도네시아의 핵무기 개발을 돕겠다는 얘기까지 있었지요.

중국이 지원하는 인도네시아 공산당 PKI의 1965년 9월 30일 쿠데타가 실패하고 수하르토 육군 소장이 지휘하는 인도네시아 육군이 (중국계가 많았던) PKI를 다 때려잡은 다음에는 중국과 단교했고요.
