이제 곧, 그리운 분들도 볼 수 있고 그리운 짙은 파란색 만두카 매트들도 다시 쓸 수 있어서 기뻐요.

오늘 저녁 만촌센터에서 직접적으로 오래 못 듣는 쌤들의  목소리가 들리더니 돼게 좋았더라고요!

I asked myself why the heck I bought a 3^rd Manduka yoga mat and the reply was that I did it so that I could make a good place to practice yoga in my home.

Ah.  Yes.

So it’s like that.  A special place / space to practice yoga.

Daiso yoga mat, thank you.

Even though you’re a little bit slippery and worn out you gave me a decent place to practice yoga for a long time.

I won’t forget you.

You were a good travel companion while walking along the yoga road of life.

Finally, the yoga studios are open!

I’m happy that I’ll soon be able to see the people that I’ve missed and use the blue Manduka yoga mats that I’ve missed.

This evening while in Manchon center, I heard some of the teacher’s voices in person (which I hadn’t been able to hear in person for a long time) and it was so great!

실은, 아까 “break in new shoes“을 검색했더니 “새 구두를 길들이다”를 찾았은데요.
구두처럼 “요가 매트를 길들이다”라는 표현은 적당한지 잘 모르겠으니
곧 한국인에게 "길들이다"에 대해 문의할까 했는데
다음카페에 남은 댓글으로 물어보기 전에 우연히 해답을 얻었네요!

그리고 다음 바디수업을 들을 때 이 매트를 쓸까 해요.
만두카 매트를 잘 길들일 수 있게 매일수련한데다가 소금도 효과적이래요.
그래서 바디수업 때 염분이 있는 땀을 뻘뻘 흘리는 것으로 매트를 잘 길들일 계획이에요. ㅎㅎ

I wonder if Wonjangnim is a fortune teller.
Actually, just a little while ago, I looked up “break in new shoes” and found a Korean expression for that situation (새 구두를 길들이다).
Just like “new shoes” I didn’t know if I could use that same Korean word (길들이다) for “breaking in a new mat.”
I was thinking about asking a Korean about that soon, but then I coincidentally got the answer via a comment left on Daum Café before I asked.

And, I’m thinking about using this mat during the next Body Design class.
I’ve heard that in addition to daily practice, using salt is an effective way to break in a new Manduka mat.
So, during Body Design class I plan to break in this mat well with salty sweat, which will be flowing profusely….haha
