As most people know, "The Perfume - The story of a murderer." is a best seller novel all around the world, which was written by Patrick Zuskind. It's the story about a geek entirely addicted to every single scent in the world. He always tries to keep beautiful scents in his own hand forever.
When I heard the novel would be made into screen, I'd rather not to see the movie. Like the past movies which were made on the base of original novels, it could make me disappointed and spoil my memories, emotions and images when I read the novel. But it occurred to me that my friend gave complimentary ticket for that movie. So I had to visit a theater on last Saturday. To tell you the conclusion, the movie was not so bad compared to the original story.
Regardless of main story, one silly idea struck me in seeing the movie. Why only beautiful girls have so fragrant scent ? There was nothing about fat and ugly girls murdered in the movie. All the sacrificed were the beauties and glamours. It brought to the conclusion that even each scent of human being is no more equal.
I have no intention of arguing that silly matter with the director or others. But I assume that it's probable that you agree with my idea just a little. The beauties and glamours feasted my eyes during running time, however I could not get out of the theater without bitterness.
