What I would like to talk about today is education. As you know, many people have opportunities of education in many sorts of field nowadays. Inspite of this, many of them are not satisfied with it. what makes them feel that? This is very considerable problem since most governments, not just in developed counteries but in underdeveloped countries, invest countless money in education.
As far as I know, people want to make their lives come to a satisfing atmosphere so, they take some classes to learn something they need. If that is the case, is korean education system expected to be able to give people's needs? Recently, entering univ. is much easier then befor. More people are possible to take higher education.
The opportunities have been getting wider, but I am not sure that the quality comes to that. It may be one of the reasons that unemployed people take higher percentages of the employment.
I am really looking forward to listening your opinion.
Please, give me a reply.
첫댓글 I agree to the point of view. As you mentioned, you havea a great deal of chance to learn education in numerous areas. I believe that something needs to be changed . especially our policy of education. I do not know how it will be going on.....
i agree with you. as you know, most of students can't do idvidual activity (to go concert) and chat their family. especially, the stundnts living in Kang-nam even study P.E to 과외선생 for their points and university. it can't find any coutry... ....oo... poor Korean students... ...
I know school is important for all of us. But some people are poor students and not interested in learning anything. What does a diploma mean to them? If they cultivate the same patience that graduates have, and have some common sense from reading or from experience, they are intelligent enough,
at least, to live in society. A diploma itself has no meaning. The question is whether or not people have the patience to get through an ever-changing life. Children who are under heavy pressure to study against their will may turn into bright but maladjusted adults who can never find happiness.
Yeah, I quite agree with 고진재님's opinion that it takes more than school to find happiness in life but still, let's face the reality here. If we're talking about 'life in Korea' then having a diploma actually worth more than happiness, I mean that;s like a prerequisite for the happiness.
Korean education system, especially tertiary education is one of the most weird system in the whole world. High school students swat the very last drop of sweat to get into the university, it doesn't matter which one just anywhere with the title 'UNIVERSITY', but once they're in then what happens,
they do practically nothing. Study literally stops. Everybody is so eager to go to universities to get the title, why? we need at least that to get a decent job, to get married, to be a proper member of the society. It sounds rather ironic but that's the least our society requires. I may sound
extreme but I personally do believe that it's nearly impossible to find enough happiness in life without a work which I can pour my minds into. And in order to get the work, I need the title, the university title. It doesn't look too pinky but I guess that's our reality.
All it will not know the ends and it will listen to. To explain again. Explanation do as a favor with the Korean alphabet.
