이번에 제가 봉사한 책은 작년에 봉사했던 ‘The Red Fan and the Blue Fan’입니다.

Hello, I am Hwang Minsung, born in Gwangju, South Jeolla Province, and currently in the 6th grade at Sunun Elementary School. I met Professor Kim Young-im of Kona UNESCO from in the second grade of elementary school and learned English from her that I could be a person who can help others. I started volunteering in the third grade because I was attracted to being able to learn English by teaching someone. This time, I also served to read Korean traditional fairy tales in English in Gwangju International People's Day and International Exchange Day in Central and Foreign Parks and Arts Streets. Those who served together this time were divided into morning time and afternoon time, and the morning team was done by Rubin and Rubin's mother from 11 am to 2 pm, and the afternoon team was joined by me, Min Yul (brother), Hwang Un-yong (my father), Kim Eun-ah ( my mother), and Professor Kim Young-im from 3 pm to 6 pm. The book I've served this time is The Red Fan and the Blue Fan, which I served last year. It was a book I tried once last year, so it was easier to memorize or read, so I had no difficulty volunteering, but I was able to volunteer much easier than the first time.
It was difficult because the weather was hot and there were many people during the "Gwangju World People's Day" event, which I served in May, but there were not many people on the street of art because there were not many floating populations and there were not as many people as last year, so it was not as difficult as the "Gwangju World People's Day" service, but it was good to have a long time conversation with foreigners of various nationalities.
There was a person who was most impressed while volunteering this year. American who showed me pictures of safari taken in South Africa?? That was it. As a school teacher, it was good to have time to ask about my favorite animals and talk about my favorite "grain falcon" while showing various animal pictures and safari pictures taken in South Africa. And the picture that the teacher showed me going into the sea and taking a picture of a shark looked really cool, fantastic and cool.
There were some difficulties because volunteering should be done with time, but I was able to find myself without fear of English and gained confidence by meeting foreigners from various countries through various services such as "Gwangju Love Center" service, "Gwangju International Day," and "International Exchange Day."
Volunteering is hard, but I feel proud when I find myself developed through volunteering.
I will continue to volunteer, learn English, meet various people, and learn a lot
I will work hard to become a better me.
