EO is ​looking ​for ​our very ​first Campus Fellows

About EO ​and ​our Campus ​Fellowship

EO is a ​global media ​company ​building Silicon ​Valley ​everywhere, ​telling the stories ​of ​founders and the ​people ​changing ​the world.

Our YouTube ​channels have ​grown ​past 1.5 ​million subscribers ​(EO ​Global / Korea ​/ Vietnam), ​and EO Magazine(eomag.io) now carries that mission into text: a global, English-language publication covering founders, investors, and the startup ecosystem.

The EO Campus Fellowship is our first student program: over one semester, college students create real EO content side by side with our team, and top performers earn an on-the-ground residency in San Francisco.

Location: Remote-first (Korea-based), with in-person meetings near EO Office if needed

Format: Student fellowship. Choose one track when you apply.

Cohort size: 4 Fellows per track

Duration: Sep 1 - Dec 2026, 16 weeks total (12 active weeks, with breaks for midterms and finals). All fellows are required to attend the in-person orientation / kick-off meeting on Aug 31 (Mon)

* Eligibility is based on where you are, not your nationality: students at overseas universities who are currently in Korea (on leave, exchange, etc.) are welcome to apply.

What You'll Do
🎬 Video Fellow

Bring founders' and startups' stories to the screen for EO's YouTube channel.

• One long-form video / month: may be published on EO's official YouTube channel, built end to end as a pair, from original interview footage to the finished cut.

• Two short-form videos / week: clips and highlights from EO interviews, for shorts and reels (except during long-form final-cut weeks).

✍🏻 Editorial Fellow

Research and write about founders and the global startup ecosystem.

• Turn EO's founder interviews into written articles (about 2 / month, in English, may run in EO Magazine)

• Pitch and write your own stories (about 2 / month, in Korean, may run in EO Planet)

• Run "Voice of SF", a weekly research briefing for the global team

Who We're Looking For
🎬 Video Fellow

• A college student or recent grad who can commit consistently for the full 4 months (Sep–Dec 2026)

• Genuine interest in startups, founders, and EO's content

• Hands-on experience with video editing, shown through a portfolio

• No trouble reading, listening to, and understanding English

• No restrictions on U.S. travel (for the San Francisco residency)

• Nice to have: your own channel or a body of edited work, and familiarity with the global tech and startup scene

✍🏻 Editorial Fellow

• A college student or recent grad who can commit consistently for the full 4 months (Sep–Dec 2026)

• Genuine interest in startups, founders, and writing

• No trouble reading, listening to, and understanding English

• No restrictions on U.S. travel (for the San Francisco residency)

• Nice to have: your own newsletter, blog, or publication, experience producing content across channels, and familiarity with the global tech and startup scene

What You'll Get

• Stipend of KRW 200,000 / month

• Selected work may be published on EO's official channels

• Mentorship from EO's in-house experts

• Top performers: a 2-week residency at the EO house in San Francisco (airfare covered, around January)

Selection & Schedule

• Applications: through Aug 17 (Mon), 2026, 23:59 KST

• Document review: Aug 18–21 (shortlisted applicants notified individually)

• Interviews: Aug 24–28 through Zoom

• Orientation: Aug 31 (Mon), in person (exact time shared after final results)

• Program period: Sep 1 – Dec 2026 · 16 weeks (12 active weeks)

EO holds the rights to publish and use all content produced during the fellowship, including on its official channels.
