Dear Im,
It's nice to know that you like comparative studies too. Although our journal fouces on economics, but we also pay atention other fields of comparative studies. And our journal also published some papers in compartive history.
As far as I know,we didn't have printed any businesswoman's image in fiat money. All the images printed in the fiat money were leaders of our country, all of them were man.In our history, there were some woman had great role, and had her records in history documents, most of them under the table, just like Zixi(she's the mother of emperor),lived in the last decades of Qing Dynast, she had faliciated China's modernization process. It's really interesting to know that there was such a great businesswoman who even was printed the currency in Korea. It seemed that woman has more important status than those of in China in the past. I think your research is very interesting. I will do my best to find some one like Kim Mandeok.
Best,
Suping
