이미 과거 존 덴버와 함께 했던 'Perhaps Love' 이래 팝 음악과의

교류를 꾸준히 펼쳐와 팝 음악 팬들에게도 낯설지 않은 성악가입니다.

모린 맥거번(Maureen McGovern)은 1970년대 초반 2편의

재난 영화를 통해서 전 세계에 자신의 이름을 알렸습니다.

1973년에는 해상 재난 영화였던 『포세이돈 어드벤처』의 주제곡

『 The Morning after 』로 오스카상은 물론 빌보드 싱글 차트에 올랐고,

다음해 <타워링>의 주제가도 불러 2년 연속 아카데미 주제가상을 수상했습니다.

 『A Love Until the End of Time』은 가장 유명한 듀엣 러브송 중 하나입니다.

세계 3대 테너 중 한명이었던 성악가 플라시도 도밍고가, 가수인 모린 맥거번과

함께 부른 팝송이라 주목을 받았고,  한국에서도 꾸준히 사랑받았습니다.
