My beloved husband, Brother Oh Gwang-cheol, a few months ago.
left me behind
To a far place...
Just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes, so I try to forget it.
Because he loved only God so much, he would have gone into God's arms. When he first proposed to me, I was surprised when he said that he wanted to meet a sister who loved God more than she loved him. It was exactly the same as mine, and he actually spent his entire life like that.
Two weeks before he left for heaven, Jesus Christ also suffered the pain of the cross and the prophets suffered and died for the Lord, but they did not utter a word of complaint. He said he would stop taking drugs. He said he would endure it while looking at the picture of Jesus Christ's atonement. So the wall where he could lie down was filled with pictures of the atonement of Jesus Christ.
One day, “Why do I get sick like this?”
He said he was sorry for saying such mean things to me and asked me to forgive him.
He said he also repented and asked for forgiveness from the Lord.
And he said God would understand my groaning.
“I’m sorry. Thank you,” He repeated to God. When I asked what he was sorry about
He said he was sorry for his weakness.
He said that now all he has left are feelings of sorry, gratitude, and love for all people.
And he said he didn't want to leave any trace of himself. Only Christ should remain for people...
That is why he did not put on the his name book of the Joseph Smith Inspired Translation bible into Korean.
With every possession he had, like the widow's two leptons, printed thousands of Joseph Smith Inspired Translation bible into Korean, shared free of charge to those who wanted book of JST bible korean. He said that when they wanted to repay him, the only way to repay him was to be born again. He truly did everything to help everyone be born again to Christ.
And he didn't want a funeral
He want scatter a handful of ashes in Yutaek Hill, where it will be buried the poor and those who died without family.
He did not want to be buried and his name would not be left anywhere.
And he want to listening to his favorite hymn and buried a handful of ashes in the Yutaek Garden.
He said he would like it to be played softly when we goes to bury the ashes. We quietly played hymns with his sons-in-law, grandchildren, and my children and headed to Yutaek Garden. Every day for nearly 30 years, we play “How Firm a Foundation,” which we sang during Open the Day and Close Day.
Nearer, my God, to Thee.. Amazing Grace... Battle Hymn of the Republic. We quietly played four songs like this. It was such a beautiful time.
Brother Oh Kwang-cheol, my husband, father of eight children, God' child.
Someday, we will meet again with a shining appearance.
Until then, I hope that our family can all meet in a spotless and shining state.
I also thank God for giving me a righteous man as my eternal spouse who could abandon everything for God.
